former and present project activities	1) Person-centred evaluation in a multidisciplinary, life span perspective: proposal of an experimental database and battery. 2) Magnetic resonance imaging volumetry of the hippocampus, amygdala, and frontal lobe in down’s syndrome patients. 3) gait analysis.4) Quality of Life of persons with intellectual disabilities.5) Proteomic approach to mouse model of Down syndrome (collaboration with Institute for Basic Research in Developmental Disabilities, New York, USA).6) Relationship(s) between learning/memory deficits and developmental neuronal plasticity in a model of Down’s Syndrome-the ts65dn mouse (collaboration with Institute for Basic Research in Developmental Disabilities, New York, USA). 7) Neuronal, cellular and molecular defects in Down’s Syndrome and potential therapeutic approaches (collaboration with Mount Sinai school of medicine, New York, USA).

other what you assess as important and others should know about you	The goal of the Child, Adult and Aging Developmental Centre is the evaluation of children and adults with developmental disabilities in order to plan adequate therapeutic and rehabilitative projects. The three essential purposes of the evaluation are: 1) Verifying the etiological diagnosis 2) Realising Specific Medical Examinations 3) Evaluating developmental characteristics according to a multidisciplinary model. A crucial element of our project is the strong relationship we interlace with families which become protagonists of the educative and rehabilitative projects together with communities and schools.
